STEP Warmfloor commercial is the radiant heating solution of tomorrow’s work environment, in our offices, factories, buildings, and warehouses. STEP Warmfloor commercial radiant heating elements are designed to provide a healthy, productive, safe, and energy-efficient heating system, ideal for use in new construction or renovation. Imagine radiant heating, which enhances the health and wellness of employees without the allergy-inducing dust transmission, not to mention drafts, caused by forced air systems.

STEP Warmfloor commercial radiant heating solution features a thin (3/64″), 9 or 12 inch wide flexible polymer heating element. The commercial element’s heat output is higher than the residential elements, and can be installed in concrete or directly under most floor coverings.

The company’s headquarters is a 35,000 square foot (3,355 m2) building, which was built to be a ‘living laboratory’ as proof of the comfort properties and energy efficiency of STEP Warmfloor in a commercial building. A total of 15,890 feet of heating element was installed in the building using a variety of installation methods – under 6” slab, between concrete layers, over thermal insulation in poured concrete, under rubber mats, floating boards, bamboo and wood. The building is LEED registered and earned the EPA’s Energy Star Award.
